Threatened began during a residency in Nepal’s Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) and continued through subsequent research into the rapidly shifting ecological and cultural landscapes of the higher Himalaya. Living with a direct view of the massive retreating Gangapurna glacier, the series traces a journey from the plains to the high altitude—a transition marked by the visibility of expanding development and infrastructure. Through a body of work featuring Himalayan slate, stone engravings, metal, and ink, the series observes the visible fractures in this fragile ecosystem.
